Evangelist Francine Smith, Missionary Department
Deacon Edgar Barnes, Deacon Board
Vacant, Deaconess Department
The term ecclesiastical means pertaining to the church or clergy. The Ecclesiastical Board is composed
of people whom God has called, appointed and anointed to do the work of the ministry.
II Corinthians 4:1-2 (KJV)
"Therefore seeing we have this ministry, as we have received mercy, we faint not;
But have renounced the hidden things of dishonesty, not walking in craftiness, nor handling the word
of God deceitfully; but by manifestation of the truth commending ourselves to every man's conscience
in the sight of God."
Relative to Kingdom Building, these members of the clergy are often referred to as the “Five Fold” or
“Ascension Gifts” ministry.
Ephesians 4:10-16 (key verses 10-11) (KJV)
He that descended is the same also that ascended up far above all heavens, that he might fill all
things. And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and
teachers; For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:
Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto
the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ: That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and
fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby
they lie in wait to deceive; But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the
head, even Christ: From whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that which every
joint supplieth, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, maketh increase
of the body unto the edifying of itself in love.
In the local church, Greater Deliverance Christian Center COGIC, they understand and promote
God’s “Vision for the House” and equally support the “Visionary of the House.”
They hold up their Pastors’ arms as did Aaron and Hur for Moses. The goal is that in ministry,
they speak the same thing and are not divided.
1 Corinthians 1:10 (KJV)
Now I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all speak the same thing,
and that there be no divisions among you; but that ye be perfectly joined together in the same mind
and in the same judgment.
