The Women’s Department was established and headed by the late Evangelist Ida Blaine.
It continues to transition in order to minister to and through the women of Greater Deliverance.
Women hold a significant place within the body of Christ and their work
is essential in spreading God’s love throughout the community and abroad.
The Women’s Department has various entities which are of utmost importance to
fulfilling the vision of our church and the work of God. Some of them include:
Monday Night Women’s Class (Women’s Ministry)
The Arise Tabitha Ministry
Annual Women’s Day (Two-Women Co-Chair)
The Monday Night Women’s Class is lead by Pastor ViCurtis Little. The class
encourages fellowship amongst each other and provides instruction about a wide
variety of topics such as self esteem, guidance for everyday living, sharing God’s love
within the church and beyond, raising children, personal development, practical and
biblical teaching for successful marriages, and much more.
The Deaconess Board was established by Bishop and Pastor Little. This is the first
Deaconess Board for our church. There are currently 5 women serving on the board.
The Arise Tabitha Ministry was founded by our pastor, Supervisor Little. A yearly
women’s retreat is hosted through this ministry.
Evangelist and Missionaries are appointed and receive training to aid in obtaining a
license. These ministries are paramount in their support to the mission and ministries
of our church body.
